However, we also recognise that for many individuals new to the concept, embracing self-custody has traditionally been off-putting due to the management of private keys and the inconvenience of security measures such as backing up seed phrases. And in any case, their introductory foray into the space doesn't involve setting up a wallet but revolves around acquiring the assets in the first place - on an exchange.
